In a mix of experimental documentary performance and queer music theatre, the performer and electronic musician Julia*n Meding plays the part of a contemporary Hamlet, revolting against reality. Hamlet’s story is used as a way to reflect on identity, individuality, madness and reality. “Hamlet” as poetic revolt: raw, coarse, confrontational, antisocial, dazzling. With musical support from the Basel string quartet “Der musikalische Garten”.
