#unteilbar – For an Open and Free Society

Book Presentation and Talk

The event will be held in German.

On October 13, 2018 a quarter of a million people took to the streets of Berlin, coming together to take a stand: for a compassionate, diverse, equitable society. And they showed that there is a broad community in Germany that is showing solidarity and speaking up. And it’s high time. For there’s a lot at stake. The constant attacks on humanity, human rights, and freedom of religion are attacks on all of us.

Now comes the publication from Ullstein Verlag: “#unteilbar. Für eine offene und solidarische Gesellschaft” [#individisble: For a Society in Solidarity and Openness]. The book is a collection of the speeches given at the demonstration’s opening and closing rallies. To mark the publication the group #unteilbar and HAU Hebbel am Ufer invite everyone to a book presentation and public debate. A live performance by Sookee is starting off the readings and discussion.

With Manuela Bojadžijev, Kalle Kunkel, Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, Sookee, and Anne Wizorek.
