Ana Borralho and João Galante live and work in Lisbon, where they met during their studies at the AR.CO Art School. Since the '90s they have regularly been working as actors and developers with the influential Portuguese 'physical theatre' group Ohlo. Since 2002 they have been developing their own projects in the areas of performance, dance, installation, photography, sound and video art, and have been invited to numerous festivals in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Japan and Brazil. In addition, Borralho and Galante are co-founders of the band Jimmie Durham and the cultural organisation casa¬Branca. They are also the directors and curators of the live art festival Verão Azul (Lagos/Portugal).
