Tell Me Love Is Real

Part of "The Power of Powerlessness"

In 2012, at about the same time, two artists found themselves hovering between life and death after an overdose of Xanax. Whitney Houston died tragically. Zachary Oberzan survived. Starting from this helpless position, the American performer took off on an experimental journey towards recovery. In a search for a hero to lead the way, the musical film evening turns to the spirits of Buddy Holly, Amelia Earhart, Bruce Lee, or Serge Gainsbourg.
